Actors Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good are officially engaged. The couple revealed their engagement during the Ebony Power 100 Gala in Los Angeles on Sunday, where Good proudly displayed her engagement ring in a photo for The Associated Press.
Majors, 35, and Good, 43, met in 2022 and began dating last year. Their relationship became a source of public attention during Majors’ domestic violence trial in New York, where Good was a constant presence, offering her support. In December, Majors was found guilty of misdemeanor assault against his ex-girlfriend. Despite the verdict, he avoided jail time, instead being ordered to complete a one-year counseling program due to his clean prior record.
Majors and his legal team have continued to assert his innocence. However, the legal controversy led to significant professional fallout. Marvel, where Majors was poised to play a central role as the villain Kang the Conqueror in its next phase of films, cut ties with him. He had already appeared as Kang in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and the Disney+ series Loki.

Despite this setback, Majors remains active in Hollywood. He stars in the upcoming Magazine Dreams, a film about an aspiring bodybuilder that earned him critical acclaim. Although its original distributor dropped the project last year, it has since been picked up and is slated for release in early 2025.
Meagan Good, a respected actress with a career spanning decades, is best known for her roles in films like Eve’s Bayou, Deliver Us From Eva, and Roll Bounce. She also starred in the beloved Nickelodeon sitcom Cousin Skeeter.
The engagement marks a new chapter for the couple, whose bond has deepened through a challenging year. Their announcement has drawn both congratulations and renewed public interest in their personal and professional journeys.
