Candace Owens Tells Eminem To Hang It Up In Response To “Lucifer” Diss

Conservative commentator Candace Owens has fired back at rapper Eminem following a provocative verse aimed at her on his new album, The Death Of Slim Shady. Eminem, known for his sharp and often controversial lyrics, released the album today, stirring up significant buzz with his attacks on various celebrities.

Among the targets of his lyrical jabs, Eminem took particular aim at Owens on the track “Lucifer,” where he criticized her political views and made suggestive comments. The verse includes lines such as, “And Candace O, I ain’t mad at her / I ain’t gon’ throw the fact b*tch forgot she was Black back at her / Laugh at her, like them crackers / She’s backin’ after / Her back is turnin’, a cute MAGA hat with her ‘White Lives Matter’ shirt,” and continues to take more shots at her character and affiliations.

Owens did not take the diss lightly and shared her thoughts during an interview on The TMZ Podcast. She expressed amusement and disdain at Eminem’s attempt to discredit her. “I could not have laughed harder,” Owens remarked. “I just think it is so lame, like he has now cemented himself as a lame person… He’s just so desperate to show Black people that he’s real.”

Regarding Eminem’s provocative comments about wanting to “get in her pants,” Owens was dismissive. She pointed out that while she might have been flattered by the attention during her college years when she listened to his music, now it just appears “sad.” “He’s trying so hard to stay relevant, but it’s just pathetic at this point,” she added.

Owens concluded her statement with a jab at Eminem’s age and family life. She complimented his daughter, Hailie Jade, suggesting that Eminem might consider focusing on his role as a grandfather rather than continuing his music career. “Maybe it’s time for him to just go ahead and be a grandpa,” she quipped.Owens

Eminem’s The Death Of Slim Shady has already sparked widespread discussion and controversy, with fans and critics alike dissecting his lyrics. As always, Eminem’s ability to provoke strong reactions remains undiminished, and his latest album is sure to keep him in the spotlight, for better or worse.

Owens’ response highlights the ongoing cultural and political clashes that often play out in the world of entertainment, and her comments are likely to further fuel the debate surrounding Eminem’s latest work. Whether this exchange will lead to further back-and-forth between the two remains to be seen, but for now, it has certainly captured the public’s attention.
