After a heated public dispute between the two last month, which followed the birth of their third child, Cardi is now seeking peace and a healthy co-parenting relationship.
Speaking candidly on Twitter Spaces this week, Cardi expressed her desire to leave the drama behind and focus on what really matters. “Life has been really weird,” she shared. “I’m single and I’ve been having fun, but I feel like me being single and me having fun, I have to stop it because I don’t want it to get in the way of my work. I just want peace.”
The change in tone comes after a rocky few weeks, where tensions between Cardi and Offset boiled over into a very public feud. During an Instagram Live rant, Cardi blasted her former partner, and Offset retaliated by accusing her of infidelity while she was pregnant. However, the rapper now seems intent on calming things down, saying, “I feel like two weeks ago, there was a lot of beef. I don’t want to have beef with anybody that I love.”

Drawing inspiration from her own family, she added, “I want to be like my mom and my dad. They don’t f*ck with each other, they just there for me and my sister.”
Despite the challenges of balancing her career and her role as a mother of three, Cardi is determined to keep moving forward. She admitted that being newly single and adjusting to life post-divorce has been difficult, especially after giving birth just a few weeks ago. Still, she is committed to ensuring that her personal life does not interfere with her work.
