Forbes’ Top Creators of 2024: Druski, and Kai Cenat Among Highest Earners

Forbes has released its much-anticipated Top Creators list for 2024, revealing the social media personalities who have taken digital entertainment to new financial heights. Leading the pack is YouTube sensation MrBeast, who dominated the chart with an astonishing $85 million in annual earnings. Known offscreen as James Stephen Donaldson, MrBeast’s sky-high earnings stem from his massive reach across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, where his combined following exceeds 500 million. With 9 billion YouTube views in 2024 alone, he’s remained at the pinnacle of the creator world, even as he navigates periodic controversies.

Making an impressive appearance on the list is comedian Druski, who ranks at No. 11. Druski’s comedic talent, paired with strategic brand partnerships with companies like Google and Microsoft, earned him $12 million this year. His income was also boosted by a successful stand-up and sketch comedy tour, highlighting the appeal of his distinct humor that resonates with a wide audience.

Twitch sensation Kai Cenat takes the No. 24 spot with $8.5 million in earnings and a massive following of 48 million. Cenat made headlines earlier this year by breaking the North American Twitch record for most concurrent viewers during a stream featuring comedian Kevin Hart and fellow creator Druski. His partnerships with McDonald’s, T-Mobile, and Nike have added to his success, illustrating how brands recognize the value of reaching his diverse, engaged audience.

Forbes’ list also includes other well-known figures, like Logan and Jake Paul, who landed at No. 12 and No. 13 with $9.8 million and $13.6 million, respectively. Marques Brownlee, a tech reviewer beloved by millions, brought in $10 million, while TikTok sensation Addison Rae earned $3.4 million. Not to be overlooked, Jordan Howlett, known for his comedic takes, earned $4.5 million, marking his own rise in the digital entertainment industry.

As social media continues to reshape the entertainment landscape, Forbes’ 2024 list underscores the financial power that top creators command and their influence across platforms. With their blend of creativity and business acumen, these digital stars are setting the standard for success in the creator economy.
