Our boy Wizkid has been SLAMMING it.
We are still on a high from his three wins with Drake for One Dance at this year’s Billboard Awards – the track won Top Streaming Song (Audio), Top R&B Song and Top R&B Collaboration – and the original Starboy (yes, Wizzy has been known as Starboy for much longer than The Weeknd!) shows no signs of slowing down from his meteorite ascent to the very top.
With his new album scheduled to drop this June, rumours are circling that it’s going to feature top bangers from the crème de la crème of the international music industry.
So we thought we would take a look back at our favourite and all time best collaborations with the Daddy Yo crooner so far:
We already know that Wizkid + Drake = Platinum so is it any wonder that they have worked together again? This time it is Wizkid featuring Drizzy on his very sultry and sexy track Come Closer
Team Nigeria WINNING. That is all!
2016 was really the year of Wizzy. This HEAVY track with Breezy, Trey Songz and French Montana cemented Wizkid’s position in the cool kids’ clique. Also, how much do we love Wiz and Chris B’s mega bromance! The two are expected to collaborate more on the new album and Chris Brown has been to Lagos more than some Nigerians, true story. We once went to a Breezy after party in a house in Banana Island…
One of Wizkid’s newest tracks of 2017, this track was with reggae and dancehall star, Kranium, and US rap star Ty Dolla $ign. Definitely on our summer ’17 playlist.
The more important question regarding these two is ‘did they or didn’t they?’ We all saw the snapchat vids and pics and tweets… #couplegoals

The biggest track of 2016, Wizkid’s hit Daddy Yo featured our Ghanaian Queen, Efya
Rumours started cirling about a collab between these two last year when Wizzy tweeted a pic of the two in the studio. Nothing has dropped yet… but we are VERY EXCITED to hear their work. It’s showtime!’
