Hollywood is bringing Formula 1 to the big screen like never before. The highly anticipated racing thriller, simply titled F1, has dropped its first official trailer, giving fans a pulse-pounding glimpse into the world of elite motorsport. Starring Brad Pitt and Damson Idris, the film promises a mix of high-speed action, intense rivalries, and emotional drama on and off the track.
Produced by Hollywood powerhouse Jerry Bruckheimer, along with Top Gun: Maverick director Joseph Kosinskiand seven-time F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton, F1 isn’t just another racing movie—it’s an immersive experience.
Brad Pitt takes on the role of Sonny Hayes, a former rising star in Formula 1 whose career came to an abrupt halt in the ‘90s. But fate pulls him back decades later when his old teammate, Ruben Cervantes, now a struggling team owner, offers him a shot at redemption. Tasked with mentoring Joshua Pearce (played by Damson Idris), the team’s young and talented driver, Sonny quickly learns that in Formula 1, even your own teammate can be your biggest competition.
