Country artists Shaboozey and Reyna Roberts are on the verge of making history as the first-ever country musicians to perform at the Rolling Loud music festival, traditionally known for its hip-hop roots. This unprecedented appearance at Rolling Loud’s 10th-anniversary event in Miami from December 13-15 underscores the growing influence of genre-blending in today’s music scene.
The announcement was made on Rolling Loud’s Instagram, where the festival celebrated this milestone as a groundbreaking addition to the lineup. Roberts will perform on Saturday, December 14, while Shaboozey will take the stage on Sunday, December 15, adding an unexpected country flair to a roster that includes top hip-hop acts like Future, Travis Scott, Kodak Black, Metro Boomin, and Bryson Tiller.
Shaboozey and Roberts, both featured on Beyoncé’s recent album Cowboy Carter, have been instrumental in elevating Black voices in country music. Shaboozey appears on the tracks “Blackbiird” and “Tryant,” while Roberts lends her voice to “Spaghettii” and “Sweet Honey Buckin.”

Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter, released in March, marks her eighth studio album and reflects her commitment to showcasing the often-overlooked diversity in country music. Inspired by a challenging experience at the 2016 Country Music Association Awards, Beyoncé envisioned Cowboy Carter as a space to honor country music’s wide-reaching history and its ability to bridge cultural divides.
For both Shaboozey and Roberts, the album has been a launchpad into international fame, allowing them to break new ground on major stages worldwide. Shaboozey, in particular, has dominated the charts with his hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” which held the top spot on Billboard’s Hot Country chart for a record 17 weeks, marking the longest-running No. 1 by a solo artist. This success has led to five Grammy nominations for Shaboozey, solidifying his place in the country music landscape.
With Shaboozey and Roberts poised to break down barriers at Rolling Loud, their performances signal an evolution not only for the festival but also for country music, showcasing its power to resonate across genres and audiences. The duo’s presence at Rolling Loud serves as a reminder of music’s ability to unite and redefine boundaries in a way that celebrates diversity and honors tradition
